We live in a small village which is northeast of Kathmandu valley. Our village was completely destroyed in the 2015 earthquake. We are living in a village for 1000 years practicing farming passing from generation to generation. We produce mostly what we eat. Our village is 40 km away from Kathmandu and 2 bus ride to reach here from Kathmandu. We have chicken cow goat duck dogs. If you love animals children and nature, this is the place!

Where to start. I spent two weeks there and it was amazing and i will never forget this. Ricky and his whole family are amazing, friendly and welcoming. From the start i felt like a part of the family. We heard amazing stories and eat amazing food. Before i left i already knew i want to come back one day.

I warmly recommend this volunteering experience! Rikesh and his family are incredibly welcoming and always make you feel completely at ease. The work is physically demanding but deeply formative, and Rikesh is very attentive to the volunteers' well-being and fatigue levels. Connecting with locals allowed me to immerse myself in a completely different lifestyle, helping me grow immensely. An unforgettable experience with an exceptional family!

My stay at the farm was truly unforgettable. I spent 50 days here and quickly felt like part of the family. I learned a lot about Nepalese farming, gardening and everyday life, while also getting to know the local culture and other volunteers. The warmth and kindness of everyone made this feel like a home away from home. I’m very grateful for these 50 days and all the memories I made, and I would absolutely recommend staying here! 🫶🏽
