In 2006 my husband and I moved from Germany to Croatia with the intention of a simple life in a natural, rural and clean environment. A few years ago sadly my husband passed away. In the meantime my mum moved in, so it's the two "old ladies". :) Now I am trying to handle the "farm" on my own. During our life here we have realized how many poor dogs and cats are abandoned and we started "picking" them from the street, giving them shelter and home.

I had a wonderful time with Tihana and all the dogs! Tihana is kind, generous and friendly, and the work is more than fair and thoroughly enjoyable, surrounded by nature with the pack always around to keep you company. The dogs are incredibly sweet and need lots of cuddles, so be prepared! Tihana's cooking is delicious and she makes sure you're well fed. I was lucky to meet her family too, who took me in as one of their own. I truly felt welcomed and grateful to be treated as part of the family. Thank you, Tihana, I loved it!

Tihanna is a warm welcoming lady who always makes sure you are comfortable and well fed. The dogs are amazing and love the company. Work involves dog care and garden task which we found fair and enjoyable. It is in a beautiful space by the mountains with a short bus/hitch hike to the coast. Be warned, you will fall in love with the dogs and want to bring them all home :)

Tihana is a hard working woman who cares deeply for animals and sustainable goals. She is an amazing cook and keeps you well fed, with plenty of food in your accomodation as well. She provides a cozy camper van to live which contains a kitchenette as well as a bathroom. She also provides the shoes and clothing you will need for the tasks. Tihana is more than reasonable with the amount of tasks required, and the work hours are very flexible. Most of the time is spent with the animals who all form a special bond with you. Thank you Tihana for a wonderful experience!
