The Experience

We need help supporting the local sea turtle conservation project by conducting night patrols and releasing baby turtles from the hatchery. We're looking for volunteers with lots of energy who are willing to work at night and during the rainy season. Volunteers stay in a purpose-built station, work for 5 hours per day and can use any of the facilities at the property.

This was my second time on the trip and it is so amazing! You learn so much about the environment and ecological life, not only from the hosts, but the locals as well. The hosts are welcoming and willing to work with you on any problem that may occur. Honestly feels like a second home!

This trip is the perfect balance of learning, exploring and enjoying the moment and to top it off the meals were healthy and delicious! A great opportunity for those who want to go out of their comfort zone. This trip leaves plenty of time for adventure as well as free time to rest and restore. If you're not a morning person don't worry because they have a coffee bar open mornings and afternoons<3 the coffee is delicious by the way. The volunteers/guides for all of our endeavors were extremely knowledgeable and humorous as well:) side note: BRING BUG SPRAY!!!!
