The Experience

Routines are: From Monday to Friday, 10:00 to 13:30 we clean the stalls, feed the animals, interact with them, take the dogs for a walk, and carry out any necessary maintenance tasks. From 8:00 PM to 9:00 PM we secure the animals in their stalls, give them dinner, and take the dogs for another walk. There is one and a half days off per week. At home you will need to do the usual daily cleaning tasks.

As always, I feel at home. If you like rural life, the animals, and tranquility, the refuge is a place you should experience.

This place has become my second home, a quiet place where you can enjoy many activities in your free time.

If you like nature, being away from the city and the direct contact with the rural refuge, this is a perfect place.

Once again I have no words to thank Acougo; whenever I am here I feel at home. The only 'bad' thing is that if you come in autumn/winter, you’ll only see the sun in the cinema or on TV because it rains almost every day. Beyond that, if you like animals, this is your perfect place!

What can I say that I haven't already said? The refuge is my second home, and the only thing I will say is that if you like animals and the refuge and the rural environment, this is, without a doubt, a place you should visit.
