I had a really good time in 平和. The work involves full days that can be physically demanding, but it was a very rewarding and wonderful learning experience. Everyone working at the farm was super nice and welcoming. The village itself is surrounded by absolutely stunning nature that I truly enjoyed exploring by bicycle. It's worth bringing long sleeves to work in as there are quite a few mosquitos around.

My experience in the farm was fantastic! We worked a lot but it was so rewarding to think what it will become in a few months! They also insisted us to take breaks whenever we needed, so you can see that they really care about you 🧡 Shuan, King and the rest of the team were super kind and welcoming. If you want to learn about sustainability and experience the real daily life of a farm, this is your place!

I loved the two weeks I spent at the farm. They are beautiful people compromised with their work and your well being.

Unlike other volunteering programs, when they say you'll work, is because you'll really work. It's tiring and takes most of your time, but it's a rewarding and satisfying work. Your sweat is really helping them, but they'll always make sure that you rest often and feel right.

The facilities are simple, but more than enough! And the bycicles they provided allowed us to move around and explore the surroundings on our free time. Thank you to Hsuan, King and all the people there!

I had a great volunteer experience here. The hosts were well-organized, very nice, and provided good instructions. Our assigned tasks were interesting and varied, I learned a lot, and I felt like my work positively contributed to the farm and it's mission. The accomodations were rustic but adequate, meals were delicious, and I enjoyed exploring the area with other volunteers during the weekends. If you like being active and being outdoors, I highly recommend volunteering here!

Being at the farm is a great experience. Chia Ling is very organized, which is an important part of a fulfilling volunteer experience. The work can be physically challenging, but the workday is structured with long breaks for resting. I always felt that the owner and other staff appreciated how much we were helping. The food is delicious and plentiful. The guesthouse is very basic but comfortable. It can get quite damp, but that's what you get for this part of Taiwan. And the bugs are no joke; be prepared to cover up as much as possible.
