Wonderful farm that is covered in green from head to toe, it is a beautiful sight daily. I came during the summer however it wasn't dreadfully hot. Ozgur and his family (Anne & Baba) were super welcoming, I was always offered an extra portion of food & more cups of tea. Ozgur is also super intelligent and full of wisdom so it's great to have conversations with him. In the farm you get to feed animals, forage, help with pipes, hoe plants, and etc. I really cant begin to explain how much i've learned during this. It was very challenging but super rewarding, organic farming is very honorable.

Özgür was lovely, the place was beautiful and you're surrounded by nature and other farms with lovely welcoming people. I was able to eat local food, meet locals and dine with them, feel welcomed in every situations (the host has perfect english). Though, I do not recommend coming in the winter, the cold may make the work a little bit harder, the sleeping situation is tricky and work hours are not easy to manage if you'd like to visit your surroundings. You get two days off of your choice, which is great but hitchhiking is the only way to get to Akhisar (30min away)

During my time volunteering at the farm I truly felt welcomed into Ozgur and his family's home. I learned a lot about sustainable and organic farming as well as what makes it so important yet challenging. Some of the highlights for me were getting to experience a local village gathering and attend a wedding celebration. The food is delicious and its rewarding to see the fruits of your labor.

I didn't expect to become so attached to Ozgur, his family, and the farm! This stay allowed me to learn more about the local culture, farming and sustainability, but also about myself. The environment is very peaceful, a paradise for nature lovers (especially cats)! I ate very well (even as a vegetarian), with products almost exclusively from the garden, and I quickly felt at home. I am truly grateful to Ozgur and his parents for their warm welcome. I will not forget this wonderful stay and hope to come back one day 🫶🏻
