I had an amazing time at the hostel! I felt very welcomed by the receptionist when I arrived. Thanks to Charlie and Aniela, two amzing and friendly girls that helped me in any situation I needed. The acommodation is tidy, clean and comfortable. You get 50% off the drinks. The work was really chill and the hours were respected. You make posters, talk with the guests and decide the activities for the next week and of course lead the activities. The only problem was the absence of a stove or an oven. That made the experience harder to keep up. Everything than that was nice!

I had a great time overall. The staff were lovely and welcoming, shout out to Charlie and Zosia, the bartenders who were always willing to help out. I didn't receive much guidance when I arrived and during my time there and was left to figure things out on my own - luckily I've had experience running hostel events, so it wasn't too bad. However, someone new to this type of work might find the lack of structure a bit daunting. The accomodation was comfortable and you got cheap drinks. A good gig if you are self motivated and don't mind working independently.

I was at the hostel for about two weeks. I was very warmly welcomed by the general manager Łukasz and by the bar manager, Roni, who I worked with for the whole time. Both were super lovely, helped out when needed, showed me around the city and even took me swimming! I feel super grateful that I got to be a volunteer here. The work is relatively easy - I'd say on each day I was scheduled to work, I worked about 7 hours and then was a able to go out after and/or explore the city before my shift started. It was a great first volunteering experience so thank you to both Łukasz and Roni!!
