We need a reliable person to join our small team in our hostel! Help needed for cleaning & reception. We work with Cloudbeds so any experience would help: check-ins, check-out and other information they might need, generating room codes for guests. Cleaning rooms, change beds, maintain the space clean in general is a must. 4h/day, 20 h per week with 2 days off.

This was my first gig & I'm really glad I chose the hostel! Lorand is the absolute best to work with! He showed me the ropes & made me feel very welcomed & confident in the work. He made the job enjoyable for the 5 wks I stayed. The work was very straightforward & schedule flexible. I had plenty of time to explore Brașov. The hostel was pretty social & I met a lot of great people. Guests often went out for drinks together in the oldtown. Sorina & Josef were very kind and welcoming as well. I had never been to Romania, but I would definitely visit again. For the bears and Dracula! Recommend!

Volunteering at the hostel was a great first worldpackers experience! lorand was so great with training and answering questions along the way. i truly became friends with him and the other volunteer during my stay <3. work was about as expected, but i will note that when working and living in the same place, guests start asking things of you all the time, not just during your work hours. i think that's just the nature of working in a hostel though. overall i had such a great time in brasov, and the people really made it special for me🫶

I had a really positive experience volunteering at the hostel. Lorand and Sorina genuinely care about guests and volunteers, and are always available for you if you need something, as you generally work reception shifts alone. The work is fair and clearly explained for each shift. The hostel is clean, modest, and a relaxed vibe. The hostel attracts easy going guests that you get to meet from all over the world as you're the first to greet them. Spending time in this city was a relaxing experience that I needed after a long time traveling. Thank you guys for everything, I miss you already!

I feel very lucky that volunteering at the hostel was my first ever volunteering experience. Lorand and Sorina did a great job at communicating the responsibiltiies of my position and their expectations for me as a volunteer. Lorand took time to train me properly and assist in any help I needed along the way. They're very involved and truly care about fostering a good environment. As a volunteer, I felt like I was treated like a guest in every way possible -- prioritized and taken care of. Vibes of the hostel itself are more laid back and chill. Accomadations were good. 10/10 experience!

This was my first volunteering experience during my backpacking trip around Europe, and I can truly say starting at the hostel was one of the best decisions I made. The hostel is cozy, comfortable and surrounded by beautiful nature which felt like a perfect break after weeks of city travelling. Lorand and Sorina always made sure volunteers were well taken care of and Lorand especially became more than just a host to me, he was like a best friend who always helped and guided me patiently both during and outside working hours. Thank you so much for accepting me as part of the team.
