Rachelle and her family were all super nice people and we had lots of fun staying at the camp. We got a really nice tent to work in and another tent to sleep in which was really great. We could choose the working hours our self's and if we wanted to do something else on any day there was always something new to do around the farm. All the animals were really nice as well.

Staying in the camping was a truly wonderful adventure. Rachelle and her family welcome you and treat you as part of the family. There is some work that is the same everyday but also you can work in other projects and even propose your own things. The work hours are always respected and you will always have the meals. Rachelle really care about your stay and comfort. I really spent a nice summer in the camp and I definitely recommend this voluntary to other people. Definitely I'll come back in the future to show again the Costarican rules on board games 😉.

Volunteering at the camping was one of the best decisions I have ever made. The work is very varied and simple, from routine cleaning to painting signs or making paths or stairs. From day one Rachelle and her family made me feel like one of their children. Camping has been an incredible experience and the place has all the facilities. The schedule and meal time were always respected and Rachelle always take us to the train station. It really has been one of the best summers where I have enjoyed a lot, with birthdays, board games, talks and a lot of Rakia. Thank you Rachelle <3

My time at the camping was amazing. Rachelle made me feel at home from the first moment. She and the family are taking really good care of you. Even if you are a big vegetarian eater as I am 😉. The work varies every day. Some cleaning is daily, but the rest of it varies: there are plenty of projects! So see what you like and work on that or propose a new project. On free days you can explore Bulgaria. Rachelle is very flexible and drops you off at the station. My time at the camping I will never forget. Hope to see the family, chicken (except for Lucy), dogs and cats again 😁

The moment I arrived at bluegate the camping I felt so welcomed! Rachelle is so lovely and really looked out for me. And her enthusiastic bunch of kids were always up for a card game or two! Setting up their impressive halloween party is no easy feat but the work never felt tiring or too much… except maybe for the cobwebbing ;) Work hours were flexible and often weather dependent. Their place is far away from the main part of Sofia but there's lots to do and see around the farm so you're never bored! There were ups and downs but overall I had a lovely stay here :)
