The Experience

We are turning a run-down house into a workshop building and studio (hopefully with your help) it has a beautiful charm and we want to preserve already existing structures instead of building something completely new because we want to work and renovate climate-friendly and energy-efficient. You can decide how much you want to work and how you want to support our project :) Hope to see you soon

My second time there and it was also a really nice experience. The hours and meals are respected. I got the chance to stay for Christmas and be with the family was a great time. Definitely I'm going to miss be there with the horses, the cats and even the chickens. Leo and Franz, her parents and sisters are truly amazing people.

I loved this volunteering so much that I had to come back. In this second time here I felt as in home, the work was also simple and the hours of work were always respected. They gave me the best experience during Christmas time and my Birthday. You really will be involved in the lovely German culture. I will miss them so much but I hope to see you soon again.

Leonore and her family were incredibly kind to me and the food was always good. There was also guidance for the work, as well as assurance that you could always communicate if you didn't feel up to the task or wanted to do something else :) Overall, I really enjoyed my stay and learnt so many new things about handy work and German culture!

Volunteering at the farm has been a really nice experience. You can learn a lot of things about skills of construction when you work in the timbered house but also farming stuff when you help with the farm. Leo and her family are always welcoming and friendly. It feels a really nice environment and there's always delicious food. Also when you help with the farm activities you can be with the horses so it's a amazing experience. The village is small but beautiful. Anyway, if you want to Göttingen is just a bus of distance. I really recommend this experience.

My experience here was totally amazing. Since the first day they will treat you as part of the family. The farm is around 20 min away from Göttingen and there is connection by bus but also they can pick you up if you coordinate. The work is easy and they will explain everything for you. And food is delicious with vegetarian options. Highly recommended :)
