Brynawel is a large house located close to Aberystwyth town centre, just a 7-minute walk from the train and bus stations. The building has five self-contained studio flats (each with a small kitchen and private bathroom) and one en-suite room. I had a really brilliant time in the host. Working at Brynawel taught me lots of new things; I really pushed myself and discovered a side to myself that I'd never expected. Will and Lou are two really kind, funny, and friendly people who welcome everyone with open arms. They create an environment where you feel safe and welcome. The work was also really fun, especially as you're usually with other volunteers and get to meet new people. The town is in a really lovely location and, alongside work, you also have plenty of time to yourself. It really was an unforgettable time! <3

This was my first volunteering experience and it was incredible. Louise and Will are the best hosts I could have asked for, kind, welcoming, and always helpful. Abery has one of the most beautiful sunsets I have ever seen, and the people are very friendly. The tasks are exactly as described, taking care of the Airbnbs and keeping them clean, allowing a genuine exchange between hosts and volunteers. I highly recommend this authentic and positive experience.
