The Experience

At first I don't want workers; I want friends around the world. Here you will be able to live with a Mexican family, on a very large piece of land with an extensive garden. Your activities will depend on your aptitudes; you will learn how Indigenous peoples and the zapatista peoples are governed; no schedule or specific activity is established; it must arise from the conversation we will have from the very beginning, where I will try to get you to know me and to know you.

I really enjoyed my experience on the farm! This place is super nice, it reconnects you with nature. It was also very interesting to learn more about the local communities. I loved the debates and chats with Omero, and I also organize events and English classes for the kids! And I learned about the culture of shiitake mushrooms.

It has been an incredible experience; the learning and life on the farm has had a great impact on me and the lives of those who participate in this ecotourism space. The family life for volunteers feels full of love and care. I have felt welcomed; it is a place that needs many friendly hands and work from environmentalists and nature protectors. Omero is a great father; his humanity fills us with pride, as well as his knowledge as an agronomist engineer. He invites us with his testimony to continue dreaming of an eco-sustainable world between man and nature.
