The Experience

Join our awesome team in a super simple role! Throw on your music/podcast then wash and fold some bed linen for a few hours, you can even grab a beer while you do it! Twice per shift we ask you to walk through the hostel and tidy the bathrooms - pick up loose paper from the floor, wipe the sink if needed - notify the reception/bar if there are any disasters! The role is to tidy/check NOT to unblock toilets or clean vomit!

The staff were lovely everything was the same as agreed upon, breakfast is good and hours are manageable. The only thing I would say is the room for volunteers could do with being brighter or bigger lights it's very dark! But overall really good stay thank you

The hostel let me good experiences, new friends and memories moments, the tasks were easy and you will can have the enough time to know around the Brugge and other cities.. include I visited other cities by bike ! You will know other volunteer there and I'm sure that will have new friends, the staff is really nice too. Was a good experience.

My experience with the hostel was amazing. Me and other volunteers got along very well and they were truly amazing, Steve, Mateo and other staff were very kind and I appreciated the help of the reception. Brugge is a beautiful city so you will not feel bored at all. I also enjoyed the parties there, the best one ofc the karaoke night. The only thing that bothered me in the beginning was the cleanliness of the volunteer's kitchen but it is improving since the staff made the rules about cleaning. Thank you for making me feel like I belong and that the hostel is another home of mine. 100% recommend.

This was my first volunteering experience and I'm definitely happy that I chose the hostel. It's an inviting, social atmosphere that allowed me to meet people from all over the world. I've formed connections with all the other volunteers that I'll cherish forever. The work is reasonable and the hours are flexible. The volunteer room and kitchen could use some work but upon leaving I noticed that the hosts were making improvements to the volunteer spaces. the hostel hosts themed parties almost every night so it's perfect if you are into the party scene. This is a one of a kind experience!
