I stayed here for almost 5 months, and would 100% recommend this place! I cannot emphasize how amazing the atmosphere of the hostel is. Living just a street from the beach, enjoying surf, yoga, and good food every day. The place is relatively isolated and it is a small town community but from the moment I arrived, the people there made me feel so welcome and excited about being a part of the team. The work you are asked to do is easy and varies so it doesn't get boring :) It's also super fun to work together with the other volunteers and staff. Thanks for everything, I'll be back <3

This experience was amazing! Seba, Lucia and every single one of the staff were supportive, kind and informative throughout. I felt like home in the shortest amount of time and left this place changed in a very positive way. The working hours are fair. The helpfulness and kindness of the people, the beauty of the place as well as the hostel lessons absolutely make up for the contingencies or stressful moments that every business like this experiences at times. I learned a lot and was able to meet locals, improve my Spanish and gain new perspectives. Thank you and hasta pronto <3 xx

Estoy muy agradecida por el tiempo compartido en Surf Spirit. Pude conectar con personas increíbles. Me voy llena de aprendizajes; desde yoga, surf, comida increíble hecha con mucho amor y dedicación, hasta el lenguaje del alma. Lu y Seba son personas muy hermosas y estoy muy feliz de haber podido conocerlos. Los caños de Meca es un lugar increíble incluso en invierno; el mar y el bosque a solo dos calles de distancia. Surf Spirit es una gran familia a la cual siempre voy a estar agradecida. Recuerdos guardados en mi memoria pero también en mi corazón. 🌺🕉️ Gracias¡
