Unfortunately this was a very poor experience. It had its pros, but the cons were too extreme. Starting from the pros, the place is amazing and the views are astonishing. The food is fresh and natural. The animals are lovely. You learn a lot. The cons are anything else. The hosts are passive aggressive and very strict and rigid with arbitrary rules, like being unable to eat until we all start to eat (you'll eat cold most of the time). The tasks are not the agreed upon, you'll have to help with the cooking and cleaning, even with guests. The hours are close to 40 not 25.

I had a great time here! Always surrounded by nature and wonderful animals. The balance between working and free time was perfect! The work is not hard and variates between many things like gardening, animal care, cleaning, stocking wood or helping to make jam or creams. There are also a lot of things to do in your free time like drawing, painting, crocheting, making jewellery, sewing, etc. They have four wonderful big dogs which are always happy about some cuddling or going on walks. So if you love nature, being off grid, animals and a lot of peace and quietness this is the right place.

It was an interesting experience. 😊👍👏 The place is amazing, as are the animals. 🐶🐱🐴 The work is easy, and you do it together as a team, which is nice. 🤝❤️‍🩹 There was only one thing that wasn't so nice, and I have to mention it.I came to the place to get in touch with nature in exchange for work, and I was always nice to the hosts and did everything they ever asked me to.But at one point, a host started to talk to me in a very rude manner, explaining in me not being actually friendly with them and their guests, considering that they spoke Spanish between each other i did my best..

Experience with ups and downs. At first, everything was fine: the hosts were friendly and I enjoyed the tasks as I learned. But later, they became more demanding, arguing and in a bad mood instead of communicating kindly, creating an unequal relationship where we had to endure their bad manners, and generating an uncomfortable situation (sometimes they were pleasant, sometimes they were rude). Moreover, the actual hours we put in were considerably higher than the 25 hours indicated in the post. I arrived eager to learn and work, but all of this wore me down until I lost my motivation.

It was a few unforgettable weeks in a very beautiful place, with very varied tasks and very interesting local people. This experience allowed me to calm my mind while working and discovering the Sierra Nevada and life (super) rural. Everything is very comfortable, we eat very well and they offer us different activities during our free time. Thank you very much to both of you; it was a pleasure meeting you and I will return in the future ;) .
