The Experience
We are looking for dedicated & responsible couple or 2 friends who can be here from 10th April until 20th April 2024. Volunteers who participating in the work-exchange program are expected to complete 10-Days of work in exchange for a dorm beds, one home cooked meal a day, participate the local new year events. We ask that all work-exchange applicants commit to at least a 10-Days term with us here downtown Kandy, Sri Lanka.

I had my first successful volunteer opportunity. Manoj was very kind during my entire volunteering days. Absolutely loved shooting content and bringing things which were once thought upon by him into life. I had complete creative liberty of what I wanted to do in videography which was the best part. the hostel Kandy felt like home in the end days♥️

I had an amazing stay with Manoj in the hostel. He is super friendly and great to have conversations with. Lunch is very tasty. The atmosphere in the hostel is great and there are always interesting people around to talk to or do activities with. The working hours are respected and the communication with Mano about the tasks is good. The location of the hostel is in the centre of Kandy, the lake is 2 minutes by walk.

Sri Lanka is a beautiful country that I highly recommend visiting. I stayed in Kandy, which has amazing local food and plenty of volunteer opportunities. My host was very kind and hospitable, and I enjoyed meeting other travellers and learning from their stories. It was an unforgettable experience that I'm very thankful for.
