The Experience

We are a family of 4, Julie and I (Maxime) plus our 2 kids Gaëtan (5y) and Camille (2.5y). We invite you to meet us and share with us the everyday life of a french family, cooking, playing, etc. As life is always busy and are both working parents we are looking for someone to give us a hand in the house with the kids mostly in order to get more time to enjoy life. We traveled a bit before having kids and are happy to meet new people.

I had such a lovely 2 weeks with Julie and Maxime, Gaëtan and Camille. They were so kind, patient with my french questions and very welcoming. It's clear that they have had a lot of WorldPackers with them before because they are very understanding and provide everything someone might need. It was an incredible and unforgettable experience.

Being a part of this family was truly a wholesome experience. The kids were so lovely and full of life. It was an absolute pleasure to be made to feel like part of the family. They made me feel at home. They are also the perfect family to learn French from as they are so kind and patient. It was amazing to learn about the culture of the home. The house is also very close to the city about a 5-minute walk to the tram station that takes you everywhere, or they also offer for you to use a bike or scooter.

I got the best time the home with the family, the kids are awesome and they play so much so you never get tired and if you're interested in learning/practicing French, trust me you will do it with them. All the dynamics and activities are useful for you to improve your language. The house is close to the city center, walking 30 mins or 10 mins with the scooter or bike. To sum up, I am very grateful I got to meet them and share part of my November with them, I totally recommend this host.
