We are looking for helpful, courteous, friendly, outgoing people to join our artsy, eclectic, laid-back family. We have 4 basic shifts that are 4-6 hours each: Activities, Housekeeping, Check-ins, and Overnight. We are flexible with scheduling if there is an event or a place you would like to explore. (eg - volunteer staff are off Mardi Gras day to enjoy the festivities). We are a team and a family and we love our staff. Work with us, not for us.Learn more

I had a great time at Site 61! Everyone is super friendly, the work is simple, and scheduling is flexible. I highly recommend Site 61 as a home base for exploring the rest of New Orleans, which is an incredible city in itself. I loved it here so much that I extended my stay a full month beyond what I had originally planned :)
We are a small, family-run hostel and we want our guest to feel at home. New Orleans is known for it's easy-going atmosphere and we try to incorporate that into our quirky, artistic, science-fiction-inspired hostel.About the host
