I had a great time at the hostel! The city of Santander is beautiful and has great weather during the summer. The tasks were easy and the meals Rosa provided were delicious. I learned how to cook many things from here during my time here. I had to leave early because I had complications with my student visa and I am so disappointed I couldn't stay longer. The experience overall felt like going to your favorite aunts house over the summer holiday. Everyday was very peaceful. I met a lot of locals and expats through bumble bff and hinge apps.

This was my first volunteering experience and I must say I was very lucky because Rosa and Katia are charming and made me feel very welcome. Rosa in particular is an admirable, very hardworking woman who cares about our well-being, in addition to being a great cook! A great stroke of luck to be able to try homemade Spanish food!! 😋 The room for volunteers is small, but it is comfortable and clean. The schedules and tasks were always respected and any changes were discussed and agreed beforehand by both parties. Thank you very much for this lovely experience. We will no doubt meet again! 🤗

Incredible experience! I felt very comfortable in the space. Rosa was very generous with me and very open to getting to know me and sharing whatever she could. The agreed schedules and tasks were respected, and there was even flexibility whenever I needed it. It allowed me to get to know Santander in a wonderful way while continuing to work remotely. Which is why I highly recommend it to women who want to work while volunteering.

It has been a very educational experience, from managing a hostel—from cleaning to customer service. I recommend this volunteering program to learn and get to know Santander; Rosa(host) is always by your side, carrying out the tasks and explaining how to do them in the best possible way.

My experience at the hostel has been very good. I don't speak Spanish well, so I worked only in cleaning. The hostel is beautiful and well located, Rosa made me feel welcome and the food was always very tasty. The working hours were respected and I had plenty of free time to visit the city. Thanks Rosa, see you soon ❤️
