My experience with the hostel was more than I could have ever asked for. It was fun, loving and inspiring. It's impossible to feel like a stranger there, the people are so welcoming. Truly a family. My Italian family! I've never felt so welcome and part of a team so quickly. The staff are wonderful and the hostel is great! It's close to the city centre and the beach too, which makes getting around so much easier (not to mention the metro just up the road). The food is good and all the arrangements and working hours are flexible and open to discussion. the hostel chain is brilliant, and they're really open to letting you experience their other branches. I'll never forget how happy I was during this experience and the wonderful people I met. I can't wait to go back! Obrigada! ❤️

I had a great time at Ostello Bello!! Since the moment I entered the hostel I felt like being part of a big family!! Everyone was very welcoming and kind and easy going. The shifts were easy and the weekly hours just as communicated, sometimes even less. There was always someone to hang out with the guests or the staff so I always felt part of something!! Already missing the vibe and the people and the jokes w everyone!! Can definetly recommend!

The hostel is an amazing hostel to stay even if you are not a volunteer. Our tasks would vary a lot, sometimes being super chill and other days not that much. Besides the breakfast we could also use the free ingredients that they leave available for the guests and that was super nice. About the city, I can't say that I loved it, is busy, not so pretty and kind of crazy, but you can enjoy a lot of amazing places nearby, so I still think is a good idea to volunteer and have this extra time around here. The manager was always helpful if we had requests about the schedule, that was very nice!
