The fee covers the expenses of food, accomodation, materials for the classes and to pay the electric bill.

The Experience
In July 2023, we created two organisations in Thailand (Sisaket province) and Lao people's democratic republic (Salavann province) in order to providing additional education, for free to those who need it in the local community. With the help of volunteers from all over the world, we have helped to improve the lives and opportunities of children from local low-income families in and around the local communities for 10 years.

This was by far the best experience of my trip. The temple is such a special place. I extended my stay whilst I was there because I loved it so much. I loved teaching the kids, it was so much fun, there's loads of materials to help you plan your lessons and other volunteers to bounce ideas off. Savon is the school family mum and she is an amazing woman who will make you feel so comfortable when you arrive. Outside of class we did loads of activities including going to a local Muay Thai fight one evening, going to watch the sunset at a viewpoint and we went to a festival at the temple.

The experience was absolutely positive ♥️ I loved it since the first time I arrived in Phrai Phatthana. People there became my family, we had a lot of fun, very good food, super positive atmosphere. Children and monks were cute and nice!! I'll miss them a lot. I had the opportunity to see the real Muay Thai and to join the meditation, both incredible. Savon is a great mom ♥️ Thank you the school!! Forever grateful!

The time spent at the Wat in rural sisaket Thailand was for a lack of a better word...excellent! Everything from the environment itself (eg peaceful temple ) to the actual volunteering (in this case English classes) to the meditation and muay Thai gym access offered was well done. As a host, Savon is laid-back but also organized in terms of fun activities, delicious meals, and simply being someone who makes you feel welcome. Overall it was an exceptional experience and a chance to experience a lesser visited but interesting part of Thailand. I fully recommend it!

I had the most blissful 2 weeks the school. I highly suggest this place for anyone that is interested. Everyone living in the village was so lovely and made you feel so welcomed. Truly such a magical experience.
