This volunteer position is perfect if you're looking for surf, relaxing and learning a little bit more about the Colombian culture. The hostel is located right on the beach, and it's easy to go and visit nearby towns as palomino, Santa Marta and Tyrona even on days you're working. The people there are lovely and I felt welcome right from the start. The only thing is that there kinda isn't a kitchen so the food situation isn't the best, but I managed fine with the lunch they offered and cold meals :) Overall I can highly recommend!

It was a thrilling and full of learning experience. This one-year-old hostel with a beautiful growing family and awesome collaborators. The limited kitchen and grocery storage space mean simple meals, but they're balanced out by a homemade lunch or nearby restaurants. Despite any challenges, guests and routine are awesome, with cool and laid-back vibes, cozy mattresses, and the magic of the Colombian Caribbean making it a standout spot. Apply for a period multiple of 7 + 1or2 days to fit the schedule! Whether using Worldpackers or not, it's a dream vacation opportunity, so GO and have fun!!!
