The Experience

Shift: 07:30 - 14:00 with 30 mins break. We need early risers who have experience teaching yoga and know how to cook and serve a healthy breakfast. (classes are held on the roof terrace or beach Yoga is at 8:30am each morning and breakfast is served at 10:00 for all volunteers and guests. The shift starts at 8:00 am to give you time to do laundry, set up the self service breakfast items, and clean and prepare the class.

The guest house was my first experience with worldpackers and I can absolutely recommend it. The house and the nature around it is so so beautiful. The town itself is very cut-off and rural. The working hours were as expected, on some days it was more to do and on some days less, depending on the amount of bookings etc. Sometimes it was a bit unorganized about who is doing what and when but this improved in the end. All in all I can say that I really enjoyed my stay there and I made a lot of good memories. Thank you for the opportunity 🫶🏼🫶🏼

My experience at the guest house was absolutely amazing and it is such a special place to stay. It is actually very hard to describe my wonderful time in 600 letters... It was my first volunteering experience ever and I think now it will be very hard for my next volunteering to be as good as the guest house. Ollie, the owner, is a really cool, amazed and generous guy, who let you really be a part of the team and the hostel. Everyday I was able to share my ideas with the team and to help improve the hostel even more. The other volunteers were amazing too and I really made friends for life during my stay! <3

The guest house is a truly incredible place. The hostels location is breathtaking but what really makes this place so special is the people. Everyone is so welcoming and loving that it feels like family instantly. The work was very straightforward and communicated clearly, and no matter the task, work never felt like “work” because everyone made sure to have a good time and support each other no matter what. Ollie, the host is an incredible person who's put his whole heart and passion into this place and allows you to share your own ideas and visions. What a wonderful experience! I stayed for 6 weeks at the guest house but I could have spent the rest of my life there. The location of the hostel is truly breathtaking, amazing for surfing, hiking, chilling at the beach,... The work was fair and there was always someone to help if you had questions, we had a team meeting once a week to see what could improve. And I loved how greatful Ollie was towards us!! This house felt like a second home! the other volunteers and guests where the most loving and inspiring people <3 I would def recommend this place and hopefully I'll be able to come back sometime!

I can't thank enough to the guest house's team and Ollie for this experience! Every day spent there I fell more and more in love with the atmosphere, the people and the guest house. I met so many amazing, loving people, who helped me grow, other volunteers became a second family. Work was sometimes stressful but we always managed to stick together, work as a team and it was definitely worth it. The beauty of this place will leave you speechless and I will forever be thankful to have experienced the life of the guest house! I hope to be back soon!!! Thank you again guys, you are amaaaazing, much love ❤️
