Overall, I did not enjoy my time volunteering at the lodge. The hotel is in a great location for those looking to connect with nature and the hosts are good people. However, I found it quite difficult to make any connections with other people and felt quite lonely. The accommodation is nice, as you get your own private space. I worked as a landscaper and gardener and was mainly working solo, which I found to be quite difficult. For those who enjoy working with their hands and being in a more isolated environment, I would recommend this experience. However, this was not the experience for me.
