Hi, I stayed there for 3 weeks and the experience was really great. It was winter, so I was alone with Omar the owner, a truly lovely person. Very welcoming, accommodating, and he also helped me a lot with some problems I had with my motorbike. As for the work, he was flexible with the schedule, and always ask for my opinion on the task we made. And even though the language barrier was sometimes a bit tricky, he was always patient and understanding. A big thank you to you, Omar — I wish you all the best!

My experience at Tranquilo was great!! The campsite is getting better and there’s a very good vibe among all the volunteers and staff. The tasks are simple and flexible. Don Omar is always looking out to make you feel at home! I hope to return :)

It was a great experience staying at the campsite; Don Omar gives the campsite his full dedication and always makes sure you are comfortable.
The tasks were simple as well, also because the season was winding down.
I also had the opportunity to meet people from the town, who were very kind at all times.
I will fondly remember this campsite; I wish you all the best.

We had agreed months in advance on our arrival with Rodrigo, everything seemed settled and we had specified that there would be three of us when we applied, to which he replied that there was no problem and that the accommodation would be adapted... However, a week before the planned start date, while our bus tickets were already booked and he was aware of it, Rodrigo let us down on the pretext that he could not accommodate three people, and his only proposed solution was for us to come to his campsite and pay as guests... that seemed very dishonest to us!!!!!!!!!!!!

Rodrigo replied

We apologize for the misunderstanding; it wasn't easy to tell you that we didn't have the means to welcome a group of 3 women. In peak season, managing accommodation and tasks can be complex when there are unforeseen circumstances. Best regards
