The Experience

We run a small glamping place on 6 hect of coastal land. We need help running the place ( mainly household chores in summer and some odd DIY jobs, feeding chickens and gardening). We are off-grid so expect a simple lifestyle. However this is on a stunning piece of land directly in the coast. We share our life with 4 dogs, 5 cats and 12 chickens and a goose called Carlita. The nearest village is a 3 km hike up the hill. Beach is a 30 min. walk.

Our stay here was absolutely incredible experience, and huge part of that was thanks to Nuno and Suze. They are truly exceptional hosts, so warm, caring and welcoming. They were always there to give us clear guidance and support, which made all the tasks feel straightforward, rewarding, and completely stress-free. A special mention has to go to Suze's cooking. Every single day she prepared delicious, hearty meals that we genuinely looked forward to, and sharing those moments around the table made the stay feel extra special. The property itself is a true paradise on earth. Thank you! ❤️

It was a truly wonderful time, and we got a great break from the city noise. The daily sunsets made every evening special, and we loved running into all the animals throughout the day—dogs, cats, chickens, and a goose! Suze's lunches were amazing (we'll never forget them!). The daily tasks were really easy, and Suze and Nuno were always understanding and helpful. The place where we stayed was a cozy camper where we felt right at home. Thank you for everything, and we hope to see you again one day! We recommend it to everyone!

This is exactly what you dream of when you think about the perfect volunteer experience. Suze and Nuno are amazing hosts, different from each other but guided by the same kindness and care. They always made sure we were doing well and enjoying our stay. After just a few days, the caravan and the whole place felt like home. The nearby beaches are beautiful, and there's plenty to explore on foot. The work was easy and enjoyable. We're truly grateful for this unforgettable experience. I learned a lot of things from the tasks that I did to the person I can be on nature. I will miss everything!

This place is amazing! We stayed for a month and a half and are so grateful for the time we shared with Nuno and Suze. They are kind, caring, and always clear about the daily tasks. The food was delicious and filling, and whenever we cooked, they provided everything we needed. The tiny house was cozy and perfect for us. Good to know: it has a composting toilet and no running water in the caravan, we carried water in jerry cans for washing dishes and cooking, which made us more mindful about our water use. It's a little far from the town, but close to the beach. We had a wonderful experience!

This was our first world packer experience and it absolutely exceeded our expectations! Nuno and Suze are outstanding hosts that are always attentive, helpful, and caring! The caravan we slept in was sooo cozy and cute! nearby beaches are beautiful! The farm you stay at has amazing views! work hours were very respected and the work was not at all difficult. The tree house was our favorite 🤩 so magical! Suze makes delicious quality food and we enjoyed lunch time together. The doggies, kitties, geese and chicken are so cute! An amazing unforgettable experience 100/10!
