We are a family living in the countryside with a beautiful forest that has been unmanaged for many years. We have three energetic children. We are looking for someone to help us maintain the forest, assist with household chores, and play with the children.

I can't thank Yoko-san, Oharu-san and their three lovely children enough for the time I got to spend with them! I loved working in the garden, going bamboo harvesting and also the trip to the zoo and Swimmingpool..I'm a vegetarian and they made sure I always had so much delicious food to eat, too! The surroundings are amazing, I loved going for bicycle rides next to the ricefields. Thank you!

This was a rewarding experience. I could enjoy nature everyday, practice Japanese, and learn about the local community. The host is well-traveled and really interesting to talk with. I'm glad that I could spend this time with her family.

Wonderful experience staying with a fun, kind and beautiful family. Food was delicious and they're so nice to talk and play with. Tasks were clearly defined (and demonstrated when necessary), but there was freedom to work according to our own timings, as long as the work gets done.
We had a house all to ourselves; plenty of space. The surroundings feel fresh, calming and peaceful. We would walk to supermarkets or different restaurants (inc. Indian and McDonald's) when lunch wasn't provided and 100 yen strawberries are sold at a nearby farm. The family also grow their own fruit you can pick.

I felt at home with Yoko-san and her lovely family! The time with them was very special and will be one of the most memorable parts of my trip. Yoko-san is very communicative- we were always aware of schedules, meal times etc. The tasks were explained at the start of the day and we were able to plan our day according to our preferences. We helped with and learnt about a large variety of tasks, the most unique ones being mochi and miso making. It was lovely being able to eat oishi meals with the family and play with the sweet children. I would highly recommend this experience to others :)
