The Experience

Come live in beautiful Coyoacan in Mexico City at our guesthouse. It is a warm, informal, intimate home. We hope you will become one of our good friends as well! Our home is in an AWESOME location (in a tourist area, super close to the metro and with a million coffee shops, museums, restaurants, etc close by). Help us with cleaning tasks and enjoy your time in Mexico. We'd love to host you during your time in the city!

The collaboration, friendships, and opportunity to connect with people from all over the world made this an incredibly fulfilling experience, setting a high standard for future Workaways. Carlos and Cynthia were welcoming hosts, with highlights like their weekly volunteer dinners to slow down and share gratitude. Market Day, where we'd shop for ingredients for communal lunches, was another special experience. Staying here isn't just about volunteering; it's about cultural exchange, teamwork, and truly getting to know CDMX. Highly recommend! And be sure to try agua de Jamaica whilst in CDMX.

I had a great experience volunteering here! The people were super friendly, and there was a strong sense of the guest house, which made it easy to feel at home. The accommodation was very clean, and the kitchen was well-equipped. The work was as agreed upon and manageable, with clear expectations. I had a great experience. Carlos and Cynthia are very nice and very welcoming. Missions in the guest house were easy, working hours were not so important, so I had time to enjoy Mexico city. The house where we were living was very comfortable with all equipments we needed. Special thanks to Nicole, Shaylee, Jessica and Pepe with who I shared good moments.

I found the hostel really comfortable and the location was unbeatable, but most importantly, I got to meet amazing people from different places and backgrounds and my worldview changed because of that. Also, I learnt new skills and discovered a lot of things about myself. the guest house is such a special place and I will always cherish my experience volunteering there!

Amazing experience! Carlos, Cynthia and Ben are the best. Everyone was open, friendly, and ready to help. They are doing amazing job creating the guest house. I felt so welcomed. I really liked how organized everything was, you have your schedule for the week ahead. Usually afternoons are free of work, so you can go and explore. Place is great, Coyoacan has everything you need, supermarkets are 10 minutes from hostel. I met wonderful people here! Thank you for this experience. Hope to back:) P.s. Greetings to Caspian❤️
