The Experience

We are looking for someone to help us with maintenance and renovation work at our hostel during the low season. Tasks include painting rooms and beds, fixing broken furniture, and general repairs. The hostel is amazing! If you're looking for a place with great vibes, lots of people to talk to, clean and cozy, you just found it! The whole staff is amazing, shoutout to reception guys, who are gonna make you feel welcome and at home! The location is really good, there's everything you need nearby and you can easily walk to old town. Work is not difficult and hours are fair and respected. Usually 2 volunteers at a time. One of the shifts is doing the barbecue, where we grill sausages for the guests outside. it's really fun and a great opportunity to mingle. Couldn't recommend it more!

I spent about three weeks at the hostel, and I honestly loved my stay. It's such a social hostel with a great communal area where it's really easy to meet other travellers, hang out, and have good conversations. The BBQ nights were also very nice, especially as they bring everyone together over dinner and make it so much easier to get to know people. The staff were all super friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help with anything.

This was the best volunteering gig I did! Everyone was nice, no one yelled or called names and everything was clear from the beginning (tasks, perks, informations). The staff and housekeeping are amazing and if you da mistake they'll just explain to you(with calm and respect) what to change. Also tasks are really easy to manage. My time here was wonderful, I met so many fun people. I didn't have any problems and if needed help I could just go to reception desk and ask. You'll also meet the most beautiful and funny dog Lupin. Ambiance is fantastic and no toxic workplace vibe. Would recommend!

Loved my time at the hostel! It's a very special social place where you can meet and befriend lots of travelers. They really want you to have a good time in Prague so they're very thoughtful about your shifts and schedule. My work there was the bbq shift (just grilling sausages for ~3hrs) and housekeeping (4hrs a day at most). The staff is so great, I mentioned that I was hoping to go to Munich if I had my 3 days off together, and Ondra made the schedule so that I'd have 5 days off in a row! I even felt included by the housekeepers who were so patient with me even with the language barrier.
