Our first days went well, working & learning together was fun. Then we had some communication issues with Cesco, where we didn't feel like we could openly express our thoughts & needs which made us feel uncomfortable. One day Cesco told us that we shouldn't work anymore for the next 4 days and that we therefore wouldn't receive food from him. Since we weren't able to contribute our skills to the project anymore we didn't see a point in staying much longer & decided to leave earlier. We're sad this stay didn't go as hoped. Unfortunately, we didn't get the money for the remaining days back.

This person came here to make a holiday and not a volunteer. She works less than the half of the hours planned and didn't understand the purpose of volunteering. She and her friend were pretending and demanding and not helping me. My Life is based on the word Gratitude for everything, from the food i eat, the water i drink or the trees that surround me, so it's important to come here with humbleness and gratitude mood, without pretending. In the moment I needed them they went away without communicating me nothing. For this reason I couldn't give back the money for the remaining days.
They are young and i hope can learn from this experience, especially to be grateful for all we have and thankful

Filip put efforts in helping me. Sometimes he didn't listen my indications and this made me a bit uncomfortable. Listening, will to help and a good attitude is very important for me, more than skills. I'm happy to teach skills, and if a volunteer have open ears can grow here. Growing motivates me, is a slow path, not easy, sometimes difficult, but worthy, like the life

This was my first volunteer job through Worldpackers so I wasn't to sure what I was in for but it was a nice experience working and living at Francesco's place. He made me feel welcome even though we had a little language barrier but that's mostly from my accent haha but as the days went on I felt more and more comfortable and it was sad to leave. The work was fair and living arrangements acceptable, with the hospitality he really shows the meaning of unwastefulness
