Ivan was a great host, he always had the best tips about the project and was always very informative about every question I had. Working with the dogs was a lot of fun and the other volunteers working there were also very nice, you just have to be aware that the road to the shelter is a bit hard to reach and the public transport in Naples is not the best. The accommodation was very large with a beautiful balcony and offers a great opportunity to meet new people.

Thank you, anya, you're so kind really apprecciated and I really appreciate your help and your attitude! It's true, get to the shelter takes about 1 hour between walking and public transport, so it's showed you're adaptable and you had a true commitment in helpingg the shelter and take care of their dogs! Good luck for your future adventures!

Both schools I volunteered at were walking distance from the accommodation so there was little need to get the metro for the placements. Ivan sorted all the communication with the schools and for that I appreciate all his efforts! I'd like to thank all the teachers who I worked with. My time spent with each teacher was great and many interesting conversations took place. Overall, I would highly recommend this program to a native speaker looking to participate in a program that is beneficial for teenagers and their education while exploring the beauty of Naples and the south of Italy.

I would highly recommend this program to individuals who enjoy working/participating in the coaching of football and being active with kids. You will certainly earn the respect of the kids quickly if you can pull off a rainbow flick or an around the world!!! Ivan did his very best to ensure my stay in the project was stress free. Any problems with the programs were quickly dealt with. It's clear to me that Ivan is passionate about the community which the projects are intended to benefit. It is also an incredible opportunity to make friends from different cultures.

Sam was a great volunteer and help for our projects. He showed great skills with children and teenagers, being able to create immediate connection with all of them. He's also a great teacher and always found a way to involve kids and support the ones who needed more care and help. Sam was also great with other volunteers and always so kind, respectful with everyone. He's really realiable, open minded and adaptable: I definetely reccommed Sam for every project, particularly with kids!

This was a transformative professional development for me as an experienced language educator. Collaborating with about 10 high school teachers in their classes opened my eyes to radically different teaching styles and learning environments than I'm used to in the United States. This immersion provided me with professional growth that exceeded my expectations.
