The Experience

On the last floor of the building we have a nice apartment with a balcony that oversees Lisbon. This apartment comes equipped with full bathroom, a small kitchen, washing machine, TV, Internet, sofa, closet space and 3 beds. The position entails: - Doing check-ins - Supervising Breakfast - Attending guests' needs (Water, Coffee, etc) - Supervising the hostel - Other necessities that may be needed at the time No housekeeping work is expected.

I had the best time volunteering at the hostel, Joao & Luis are so kind and will do anything to help you out. The apartment for the volunteers is perfect, we had a lots of space for our stuff and the balcony makes it extra special! The location of the hostel couldn't be better for exploring the city, it is situated perfectly next to the best viewpoint in Lisbon. I would recommend this place to anyone and I can't wait to come back sometime :)) thanks so much !

My stay at the hostel was truly amazing. From the first day, I felt like part of a big family which made settling in so easy. They genuinely care about building a strong community, and volunteers are immediately made to feel part of it. Whether it's professional matters or personal concerns, they're always ready to help, ensuring everyone has an unforgettable stay. Their main focus is on making sure volunteers enjoy their time in Lisbon, with work coming second. The attic apartment, shared by four volunteers, is spacious and cozy, with a stunning balcony view over the city. Thank you for all!

I have been volunteering for approximately 2 years now, and this World Packers comes out as one of the best! The location is 20 min walk to local transportation, nightlife, and plenty of restaurants/cafes. Makes its easy to get most anywhere you want to travel around Portugal! The accommodation was incredibly nice! Entire top floor flat with bathroom and balcony just for you and the 3 other volunteers. If there's anything at all you need, João and Luís are SUPER accommodating and helpful. I felt like a lil family right away! The work is very simple too.Would 100% recommend, miss it already <3

I absolutely loved my time at the hostel! The Hostel is small and cozy and has the perfect location for going out and exploring Lisbon. Luis and Joao are the best and did everything to make me feel at home from the minute I arrived. I really grew together with the girls and it felt like my second family <3 The shifts and tasks are very easy and chill. I don't think you'd find something more relaxed hahah :) The apartment is very nice and has everything you need. I'm really thankful for this time and would recommend it to everyone!

It's been an amazing experience volunteering at the hostel. The hours of work are fair and respected, there's flexibility if you need to change schedules, and tasks are clear and easy. All the team is composed by truly amazing people, very easy to get along with. Location is absolutely perfect. Accomodation is spacious and has everything you need for your stay. The girls I volunteered with are really nice and João was a great host. Thank you so much for having me 🙂✨ I can truly recommend this place if you are looking to spend quality time in Lisbon.
