The Experience

On the last floor of the building we have a nice apartment with a balcony that oversees Lisbon. This apartment comes equipped with full bathroom, a small kitchen, washing machine, TV, Internet, sofa, closet space and 3 beds. The position entails: - Doing check-ins - Supervising Breakfast - Attending guests' needs (Water, Coffee, etc) - Supervising the hostel - Other necessities that may be needed at the time No housekeeping work is expected.

I recommend the hostel for anyone looking to stay in Lisbon. The location is great, the work is not hard, and you definitely have enough time to go out and explore. João and Luís are also always making sure the volunteers feel comfortable and are open to suggestions. Only downside would be that it can be a bit difficult getting large luggage upstairs to the volunteer room so I'd avoid bringing a big suitcase if you can!

My experience at the Lxhill hostel was truly incredible. Everything was done to make us feel at ease. Joao and Luis were really nice and attentive to our needs. The volunteer work at the reception is really not too demanding and fairly easy. Besides, the hostel being in such a great location is incredible if you want to spend time visiting the city and going out for drinks. You have a lot of free time during which there's so much to experience in Lisbon. Even if you prefer relaxing at home, the flat is really big and comfortable and you can also spend time in the lounge, which is great !

Everything was perfect during my volunteering at the hostel. We have a big flat only for the volunteer team the flat is confortable, and surprise a Terrace just for us! The work is very easy and we have a lot a free time for enjoy the city and the location is just perfect! The team is very friendly, Joao is always here for us, if we need anything you can count on him so i always felt good during my stay. I recommend this experience at 100%. Many thanks for everything!

My experience as a volunteer at the hostel was amazing, much better than I could have imagined. The room for volunteers is super comfortable and big. We never lacked anything. The work is very easy and quiet. You have a lot of free time to explore the city. Joao is always willing to help us and listen to us if we have any questions. I recommend this experience 100%.

My experience at the hostel was so so nice. The location of the hostel is incredible everything important is so close and you can reach everything by foot! The work is super chill and it's never really buisy or exhausting. The apartment of the volunteers is also great, you have a kitchen, everything and even a little balcony! I felt safe all the time so I would definitely recommend it to everybody.
