I came here unexpectedly because another host cancelled on me at the last minute, and I'm so glad I did! The hostel is really beautiful and relaxed and all of the guests were so kind and friendly. Most of the guests were solo travelers so it was easy to make friends to go out and explore with. Mensur is very generous and kind, and his family are so sweet and welcoming! He is always calm and happy and treats volunteers and guests respectfully. The work is pretty simple since it is a smaller hostel, just cleaning the rooms and a couple of check ins day. I will miss this place for sure!

I was very well received by Mensur and his family. Mensur introduced me to the city, invited me to go to the caffe and was flexible in the hours. Really a volunteer, he wants your help, you can combine with he the hours of work, this is of paramount importance because many Hostels receive the volunteers as employer. The town is small and beautiful, Mensur knows how to recommend all places around there.

Mensur and his family at the hostel are extremely welcoming and kind. They made me feel at ease in Ulcinj right away. The work is exactly as described and leaves plenty of time to explore the city and surrounding area. Mensur has lots of helpful information about the city and made working here an enjoyable time. I highly recommend this experience to anyone looking to come to Montenegro and have a pleasant stay :) I look forward to coming to visit again someday!
