Our ranch offers horseback riding tours (guided tours) for tourists. You as a volunteer should be a skilled rider and be able to work everything that is related to horsemanship. These tours usually take place on the weekend during the winter so in the week there are other tasks, primarily feeding the animals, maintenance, and some small constructions (cleaning the trails, meadows, painting, etc.) while in spring/summer we ride almost every day.

It was a great experience! met the most amazing people and felt welcome right away, elena and her entire family truly did her best! it was a lot of work tho, so don't apply if you are locking for something chill. the rides (with a breathtaking view), elena's muffins, Karolina's food and all the welcoming people def made up for it and made time fly by rlly fast. I had an amazing experience at the farm! The people there are all very kind and open, from my first day on everyone always made me feel at home. You really notice that all of them love their job and especially the horses! Working with the horses was fun and fulfiling, but it's important to know that during the summer you will work a lot as there are many guests for the tours. I was lucky to work with so many other amazing volunteers who made even the harder parts of work enjoyable. A great bonus are the lovely dogs and cats :) Thank you so much for having me, i will be back for sure!

My experience was rich in meetings, emotions and learnings! I am so pleased to have met all the amazing people from the farm: Elena & Marino, Marie & Toni, Karolina & Mario! They are all super nice and fun :) When I arrived I had so many things to learn: knew the horses, the tours' paths, the daily chores... but when I knew everything it was so satisfying to be autonomous. During the summer we can start very early in the morning and finish quite late, so be prepared to work a lot! The nature surrounding the farm is beautiful and the Istria region too!

I had an absolutely lovely experience at the farm. Elena, Toni, Marino and Marie made me feel welcome and seen from the beginning and were very clear and open about expectations and the communication. All of the horses were super sweet and good to handle which shows me that it's not just about the business for them. The horses pastures are very big, they get a lot of food and water and have plenty of friends. The volunteer team was amazing and I hope that I will see the girls again some day. It really felt like we were one big family. I will most definitely come back ♥️

I absolutely loved my stay at Ranch Marconi! The staff are incredibly kind, welcoming, and genuinely caring. They made me and all the other volunteers feel at home from day one and always went above and beyond to make sure we were happy and comfortable.
You can really tell that they do this work out of passion. They take amazing care of their horses and put so much love and effort into the ranch. It was such a unique and unforgettable experience, and I would highly recommend it to anyone who loves horses, wants to support a great cause, and dreams of experiencing authentic ranch life!
