The Experience
Volunteers at the site provide help with animal care, general maintenance, cleaning, work with tourist , etc. We seek to connect with people from different parts of the world in order to carry out a cultural exchange. We are interested that those who arrive at the place do not also tell about their interests and leave with knowledge of what life is like in a traditional Uruguayan stay. And a nice experience!

The welcome was incredibly warm, and Juan and the other girls volunteering there were so kind and made me feel at home right away. The highlights were definitely the nature, the horses, and the many animals that roamed freely. The accommodation was simple, but I really enjoyed the daily work taking care of the animals. I also appreciated that I could share my own ideas, which were welcomed and implemented. It was a great experience to learn about the Gaucho culture, and the food was always delicious. Anyone who loves animals and nature will feel at home here.

The perfect place if you love animals! The dogs will always be happy to cuddle or join you for a run and you will have lots of opportunities to go on beautiful horse rides herding cattle or sheep. Besides some daily tasks such as feeding the dogs and taking care of the vegetable garden there is always something new to do. Juan is a kind host that makes you feel very welcome as soon as you arrive. He is also open for new ideas so there is room for creativity and building new things. This wonderful place feels like a home away from home and the amazing memories made will be remembered forever.

I really loved my stay at the farm. I spent there 3 months, and really felt like I became part of the family. Dogs are big part of it! <33 Endless nature to wander and go trekking, with a horse or not. The tasks are very simple, and the amount of work changes depending of the current projects. I learned so much about how to take care of horses and other animals, clean wounds and give antibiotics etc. The general vibe is super chill. Will definitely come back one day!
