Hi everyone, I'm Bianca and I'm 21 years old. It was my first time in Brazil and my first time with world packers. I don't know the language and I was completely alone for the trip, but Gabi took care of me all the time, she answered all my questions and was very kind. When I was in the hostel everyone helped me adapt and understand things. I practiced my English and started learning some Portuguese too. I tried many typical dishes and visited the city which is safe (more than big cities) The place is beautiful and peaceful, and it gives you a lot of “the home”!

O voluntariado foi muito especial! A Gabi faz parte da minha história viajante e foi muito gostoso conhecê-la e ainda fazer parte do sonho dela que é a casa. O dia a dia é construído juntos de acordo com a necessidade do local, os turnos são flexíveis e bem tranquilos sobrando bastante tempo pra explorar a cidade e arredores. A comunicação também acontece com frequência e a Gabi está aprimorando a estrutura do local e expectativa do voluntariado a todo momento. Passei o Natal lá e me senti em casa com os outros voluntários, existe fortemente um senso de comunidade e coletividade.
