Spending a week with Marcelo and Christina was a transforming experience for me. The work-life balance was arranged perfectly and the meals were delicious. During the meals, you would have the chance to have nice conversations with Marcelo, who is a really caring, helpful, interesting and easygoing host. With the bike they provided, I had the chance to explore the area. Also, they have taken me to a local permaculture gathering which was a cute environment. I really encourage you to go and help this wide-ranged project.

It was a phenomenal experience. I get to know more about permaculture. Marcelo and Kristina is very welcoming. The farm is right on the cycling track between Famalicão and Póvoa de Varzim. You will see a lot of plants and nature on the farm.

My expwrience with them was amazing, they really have the best and most honest project. The garden and the terrain are beautiful which makes being there really nice. The balance between work, free time and learning is perfect, this way I went to the beach on the weekends with the bicycle they had. I camped in a tent they lent to me to avoid the heat and I really enjoyed it. The food they cook is delicious and during the mealtimes we all had enriching conversations which opend my mind. They are the nicest people, they answer and help with any doubt or question I had.

I felt safe right from the beginning at Marcello's place. He and Christina are making a welcoming atmosphere there, they are very nice and calm people. I haven't spend much time there but still worth it! Marcello has a lot of knowledge and he will tell you about various topics if you're courious. The living conditions are minimalists, it wasn't bothering me but it's good if you know.
I recommend the experience!

The stay at Marcelos and Cristynas place was a big enrichment! Marcelo explained every tasks very detailed, he takes time to answer all the questions and the tasks were varied. The well-being of the volunteers is very important to them. Three times a day they served really delicous meals with food from the garden and you eat together whith very nice talks during the meals! When I left - I left with a lot of new knowledge and gratefulness! Thank you for this experience!
