The Experience

We have two schools that we run in Siem Reap Province and in Ankor Krouv village. We are concerned with the overall health and development of children, and as such we provide a supportive and nurturing environment for the children. Providing education with a commitment to teaching both English and other necessary key life skills. We welcome you to be part of this project!

My experience was really wonderful, the children were soo cute and it was nice to help them, not only help them but also the people living there. I did not teach that much but I have learned how to mix concrete and kind of worked on cunstruction, because we had enough teachers at that time. I love the fact the you know, you are helping the right people! Sa and Phol really deserve every help and support there is!!

What an AMAZING first Worldpackers experience! Hosts, teachers, children, locals and other volunteers were so amazing & welcoming. Everyone there is grateful to have you! While at times communication could have been better (forgot I was arriving so lack of contact before hand, mix up with my leaving dates, no pre-plans for lessons and bit of disorganisation around accommodation), everything always fell into place and you just figured it out! We were invited to a local Cambodian wedding & had the opportunity to visit other villages too. Would 100% recommend!

If you want local experience with a promising education system? This volunteering is for you! Thanks for welcoming us as volunteers and for the opportunities we experienced. Thanks for the food which was excellent every time, thanks to the people who clean and prepare the meals. we had the privilege of visiting several interesting schools. Thank you for the wedding invitation. We are proud and happy to have been able to contribute to providing knowledge and also to see how education in the organization is evolving little by little. Paul, Sar and the teachers are doing an amazing job changing the lives of every Cambodian learners' weather young or adult as the saying goes: “there's no age limit for learning”. I had an amazing stay in the center and learned a lot of things from the kids and the teachers. I taught at the organization and visited other schools at villages once a week to teach English Language,do some gardening and other stuffs.The kids were lovely, thoughtful and intelligent. I can see that their future is bright and successful. I met other volunteers too and we had an amazing time together.* Choul Muoy*

Volunteering at the organization was honestly such an amazing experience, it has been the highlight of my trip. The work they are doing to provide children from less advantaged backgrounds with an education is inspiring. Paul and his family welcomed us all in to their home and I'm so grateful for this. They provided us with basic accommodation and two basic meals a day - breakfast and lunch. They were always happy to help and were very flexible. I volunteered at the village school which was an amazing experience, it included teaching and gardening. Thanks so much for having me!
