The Experience

We are a family owned and operated historic estate in the historic Normandy region of France. We offer to our guestS 4 beautiful guest rooms, breakfast, dinner and uniques ans stunning spaces for events. We have spent 7 years to renovate the property and are now ready to introduce ourselves to the world. We need someone to help us with web presence, SEO, social media management (INSTAGRAM), content creation.

It was my first experience as worldpackers and it was a really great experience. Arianne and Bernard were very welcoming, they were really nice, making sure everything was ok for me and welcoming in their house and family. I improve my French by listening to their conversatios and practice my English. The work was easy, not tiresome and the times was respected. The instructions were very clear and after that they leave you to work on your own, so I really recommend this experience if you like nature, and do not have problem to be by yourself

Bernard and Ariane both welcomed me graciously into their home, were very respectful of my privacy, and included me in family activities like going to the ocean and the movies! I found their daughters to be lively and fun and enjoyed spending time with them as well! Above all I found them very helpful! They picked me up and dropped me off at the train station when needed and when my train got stuck late one evening on my way back Ariane even offered to pick me up where I was stuck! A gesture that was unnecessary but extremely kind. I highly recommend them to any travellers!

Ariane & Bernard provided an incredible WP experience; not only is their family warm & welcoming, but they provided opportunity outside of work to learn about & enjoy different culture from local & nearby towns. I was integrated as part of the family, & given unique work & social opportunities I'd not encounter elsewhere. Not only that, but when a fellow WP & I (on separate occasions) faced personal dilemmas/illness, Ariane went above & beyond to assist with our recovery & comfort whilst on site. I hope to visit again soon, & highly recommend this beautiful castle experience to all!

We had an amazing and enriching experience, to the extent that we intend to return and continue helping with Bernard and Ariane's ambitions for this unique site. The work was fair and rewarding, the lodging excellent, the meals delicious and nourishing, and the family delightful. This is a unique location with proximity via train to plenty of other destinations. Do not miss out on this opportunity !
