My time at Dar Hamadi felt like stepping into another universe, with its own rhythm, rituals and soul.
What stayed with me most are the details: the quiet mornings, the little gestures of kindness, the architecture, the objects, the stories held by the house, and peoples they give the place its life.
Shams is a generous and singular person, with a very particular way of seeing life and the world, which I truly appreciated🙏🏼
Dar Hamadi left something in me. More than simply a stay, it was a pause that touched my heart and reminded me that places.. like people, can carry a soul ♥️

My experience at Dar hamadi has been one of my best experiences at worldpackers. The house it's absolutely amazing and the work it's very independently. I didn't have the placer to meet the owner in person but he since like an amazing human been. I created good friends in the house.

Make sure you do everything exactly correctly and expect challenges in communication.

And if you aren't self-reliant like Maddie—if you need someone to give you orders when there is no captain to communicate with, but rather a crew you must cooperate with rather than compete against; or if you need a hierarchy to tell you what to do because you lack initiative; or if you hang back instead of resolving the anomalies you are involved in—then I wouldn't recommend applying ;)

It was an interesting experience, when I came here nobody was in the house. I was scared of my stay before another person came into the house. I couldn't meet host bit he helped me a lot, and also his members supported me when electricity went down. Great teamwork!
I expected to be able to contribute to making something, however, I didn't do it. I want to make social interaction with local people, definitely next time!
