Description
The payment is only collected if the volunteer decides to stay at our volunteer house. The payment will be used solely to cover the costs of electricity and plumbing, and we do not retain any of the funds for personal gain.

I really enjoyed my stay here! As a pre veterinary student I enjoyed being able to work on my tasks and help the shelter dogs. Everything was great and welcoming! It allowed me to choose a bit what I wanted to do each day if I wanted to da deep dive or a bit more of a calm day. I definitely recommend this to anyone wanting to help a shelter.

This volunteering Experience was amazing! All the dogs are friendly and in need of love which makes you fall in love with them. The work is simple and easy and leaves a lot of time to spend with the dogs in between & after work.The host helped organize a bike and a pick up from the bus station and when I decided to stay longer it was no issue.I stayed 13 day in total and everyday was just worth it .To see how even the scared dogs get acclimatised to you over time was fullfiling.I also took some of the dogs to to the beach and learned how to ride the saleng.I recommend this for all the shelter lovers:)

I stayed at the the shelter with a friend and we had an amazing time! Taking care of the dogs is such a fulfilling experience and you get so much love from them. If I could I would've adopted one because it breaks your heart to say goodbye! Do notice that the staff you will be working with don't speak English, so if you're the only volunteer there, it will get a bit lonely. But overall a great experience!

Volunteering at the shelter was an amazing experience. The foundation does absolutely incredible work, providing shelter, food and medicine to over 300 dogs daily as well as driving around the town providing food to street dogs every night. The work consisted of helping with feeding the dogs, picking up the shelter poo, sweeping the main area, and occasionally washing or brushing the dogs. It was relatively simple, but in the heat it was really hard work. However, the workers and owner were patient with me, allowing frequent breaks and plenty of time to cuddle with the dogs.

This experience has been great, i guess the best so far till now. I spent 10 days helping out the shelter team and cuddling the dogs. There is so much to do and sometimes unexpected dogs come to the shelter and need urgent care. The host has been really good at helping me to get to the place and arranged a scooter to rent and accommodation on site (just for a little fee). I would recommend this experience to all the people that are in love with dogs ( there are more than 300 dogs ). I ended up adopting a the shelter myself. I will see them all very soon! Thanks for everything x
