Ryota is a wonderful host, he's always available and makes sure everyone has a nice stay. the hostel immediately felt like a home and the guests like a small family. I will always cherish the memories we all made cooking together, jamming, singing and sharing thoughts ! The work is not demanding, I enjoyed cleaning the place to make it welcoming for guests to come back to in the evening. Yomitan is a beautiful place, it's great to cycle in (beware of hills though !) and the cafes and beaches around are very nice too :) I definitely recommend this experience to anyone ! It was amazing ✨

The hostel Guesthouse is a hub of serenity in the modern world. Every day is calm and relaxing, and as the time doesn't seem to pass, all of a sudden the month is up! Ryota is a great host and amazing guesthouse owner. He cares and thinks about every little thing, and goes out of his way to help anyone who needs it, be it guest or volunteer. The work is very simple, straightforward, and fair. All in all a great experience that I would recommend to anyone who wants to try quiet everyday life in Yomitan, Okinawa.

Ryota is truly an amazing host, to say the least. I originally stayed at his hostel as I was travelling through new places in Japan and came across his guesthouse as I went to Okinawa.
I was most lucky to have made that choice, and I was instantly moved by how nice and simple he was with all of his guests. His location is musician-oriented, so as a guitar player myself, I made many jam sessions with him and other people enjoying time at his place.
The workload is not demanding in any way, breakfast is included, every day is an opportunity to make a great acquaintance. どうもありがとうごいました！

Ryota is one of my favourite people in Japan and the hostel has to be the best hostel in the country. If you're a musician, this place is paradise, and even if you're not, the vives here are fantastic, the guests are all super kind and the environment makes socializing very easy! Ryota's hospitality is on another level and he makes everyone immediately feel like they're at a home away from home. The work is light and flexible, and easy to do even if you are sick or injured like I was for most of my stay on Okinawa. All in all, would very highly recommend!
