The Experience

For 20 years I ran a guesthouse where I welcomed travelers and helpers from around the world. However, I have now moved to a small house in a quiet neighborhood, where I wil be happy to provide you a private room and breakfast in exchange for some of your time and help. Additionally, I can offer you insider tips and tricks to explore the city beyond what tourist brochures may suggest. -- Si eres de latinoamérica, puedes escribirmeen Español--

Overall had a wonderful experience. Juan is charming, intelligent, and a welcoming host. Very knowledgeable about the country and a veteran traveler/host. He is also a great cook, and I am grateful for all his insight on the things he shared with me, as well as all I learned during my stay!

It was a very good experience stay at Juan Carlos home. We talked a lot of the currently issues around the world, sociales, polítics and economics. I had the chance to see Buenos Aires of the another point of view. I recommend to people apply this adventure with Juan Carlos as a host.

Being with Juan was an incredible experience. He was extremely flexible with the dates when I needed it, and when I got sick during the volunteering days, he was incredibly helpful, assisting me with everything I needed. We had many interesting conversations where he taught me a lot about the Argentine political scene and gave me numerous tips on what to do in the country. Plus, he cooks wonderfully! Overall, I highly recommend this position.

What a wonderful visit to Buenos Aires When I signed up for this volunteering, I was a little worried, but I was very positively surprised Mr. Juan, he welcomed me very well, he is an incredible and very intelligent person, he paid attention at all times, with breakfast, lunch, note: a very good cook! He made maps and routes of the city so I could explore it. His house is very clean and comfortable He was a great host and great company Thank you very much 🙏🏼 God blesses!!!

I appreciate all of the knowledge and local history taught to me by the host. It's a great place to stay if you are interested in learning about the local area. The tasks and jobs were varied and the host was flexible with times and availability. The area felt safe and the host helps a lot with local transportation and is knowledgeable about places to visit in Argentina.

Hola Ricardo. It has been a pleasure to receive respectful and open-minded people like you, with whom it is possible to share talks on all kinds of topics (especially after a bad experience with my 1st guest on this site). I will not lack the opportunity to visit your beautiful caribbean insular country.
