What you offer

The project Sinestetica is a growing and ambitious organisation. Volunteering at the hostel is great, the work is relaxed and the hosts are flexible. Guarapari is a lovely but small beach city, and in your free time, you have over 50 beaches to explore. the project centre is always open to new ideas, so if you are an artist, musician, or someone invested in culture and have a project or plan you want to test, do not hesitate to talk it through with them! I was lucky to be volunteering with a great group.

A experiência na the project tem sido profundamente intensa para mim. Tive a oportunidade de participar de diálogos sobre cultura na Câmara de Vereadores, integrar os ensaios e apresentações da banda de congo “São Benedito”, desfilar no bloquinho Beleza Negra durante o Carnaval no Centro e visitar comunidades quilombolas. E não para por aí. Decidi estender minha estadia por mais duas semanas para desenvolver um projeto artístico na casa. Espero conseguir contribuir com tudo o que planejo, antes de seguir viagem.

Uma experiência extremamente imersiva na cultura local. Pude aprender muito sobre a história da cidade, me conectei com pessoas e pude realizar tarefas que me acrescentaram muito!
