The Experience

We lived with our family here. Unfortunatly our family moved to tagounite because of the waterproblem. But we love it here so much, we came back 4 years ago to live here. So we are looking for people who want to help us build the house. We live in a traditional house (Kasbah), it has bedrooms, living room, kitchen, toilet, garden and enough space to relax. Now we need help with making bricks, carry stones, building a new kitchen, fixing walls etc

It was my first Worldpackers experience and I loved it. Definitely recommend! Due to the weather being too hot we couldn't really work much which was a shame. Mohamed was a good host. If you can speak French, this will make it a little easier to communicate with the local people. I will definitely come back!! You will be welcomed with open arms. Thanks for the great experience Mohamed, mubarak and all the rest!

I had a great time atthe farm. The people are very friendly and Mohamed is a caring person. Since I had a car with me I was able to explore the surroundings and was able to see a lot of beautiful places! Mohamed and his family / friends took me with them all the time, when they were going to town and I was even invited to a marriage. I made an immersive experience and got in touch with a lot of local people and the Moroccan culture. Since it was summer time and very hot, there was not a lot of physical work to do. I could help them with pictures and websites for their program! Recommend.

My experience at the farmwas fantastic! The accommodation and lifestyle was more primitive than I was expecting but it was an excellent opportunity to adapt to a lifestyle completely different from what I was accustomed to. The meals were great and I never felt hungry during my stay. There was significantly less work than I anticipated giving me lots of time to explore Tagounite, meet local people, and visit the Saharathe farm. Everyone I met was kind, generous, and willing to teach me about their language and culture. Mohamad, despite speaking little English, was a very nice man. Thank you!

We are very happy and grateful to have come to Dar Nomad and met Mohammed and Mubarak. Thank you for taking such great care of us. The summer the camping weather is extremely hot and sometimes windy, which was quite different from what we are used to. Because of this, the hosts didn't give us much work but instead cooked delicious meals for us, played traditional music, introduced us to local friends, and celebrated Eid al-Adha with us – an unforgettable experience. They were truly wonderful, attentive, and responsive to our needs. We highly recommend this place!
