I volunteered at the host for 2 weeks, and it was such an amazing experience. All of the teachers and students are so kind and they made me feel so welcome in their community. The teachers also organised trips for us including going to waterfalls, the beach and the mountains. I would highly recommend this to people who want to get involved in local culture and are willing to try new things. Thank you so much to all the teachers, and the other volunteer the host for making my time in the host so memorable.

The teachers and students from the SMK Dane Rahill have been so kind and welcoming and their enthusiasm is truly contagious. To me it felt a bit like an unorganized mess at times... but if you are open-minded, the culture and local experience can be an amazing eye opener and insight into their way of living! They taught us a traditional dance, they showed us traditional music and food, we saw some amazing sights... and besides the wonderful tours, I want to thank my co volunteer Mairi for creating and being part of this unforgetable experience! Terima kasih for this mantap betul time!

Such a wonderful experience. Would highly recommend to anyone who wants to properly immerse themselves in the culture and get a local experience. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming ,I immediately felt at home. The students were so happy and enthusiastic and such a joy to be around. The teachers couldn't have done enough for you , particularly Hapiz , Majri, Ari and Dani who went above and beyond to make sure I enjoyed my time there. Again would highly recommend to all backpackers!! Thank you for such an incredible experience (:

I can hardly express how they made me feel while living there. This was one of the most beautiful experiences of my life. The students, teachers, and their families were incredibly kind, always welcoming me with smiles. The students were the true stars, spending time with them was pure joy, despite language barriers. Their excitement and happiness were infectious. Don't hesitate to join this volunteer program; these kids will warmly welcome you, share their culture, invite you into their homes, cook for you, and you might even end up doing some karaoke with them.
