My experience with Margaret and Steve in Vratsa was a sweet time. They were gracious hosts, incredibly kind, and made my time in the city incredibly memorable. Exploring Vratsa with them was a joy, and our conversations were enlightening; I learned a lot from them. However, my favorite part of the experience was undoubtedly the morning walks with the dogs across the Bulgarian mountains. It was a breathtaking experience, and the dogs, with their fun personalities, truly stole my heart. I highly recommend this experience to those who are comfortable with solitude and ready to embrace hard work.

Volunteering at Steve and Margaret's was an amazing experience. This lovely couple cared for us like their own, aiding whenever needed. Tasks are divided between dog care, DIY, and gardening. Rescued dogs, all well-behaved, but three stole our hearts. Vampy the Brave protected us fiercely. Donald the Dippy, with his silliness and power, and Lilly charmed us with her grace. As a final thought, I recommend this volunteering experience to anyone who feels attracted to nature, animals, and the picturesque mountainous village area. You will not regret it; Steve and Margaret are wonderful people
