Luego de haber estado un año como voluntario en diversos proyectos, me he dado cuenta que aportando un básico de recursos que puedan entrar al Proyecto y yo siendo parte de el, se aportaba a que la abundancia circulará en el e igualmente fomentaba que proyectos con sentido social y ecológico siguieran adelante.

I had a great learning experience at this Worldpackers opportunity. I learned about Compost, got to be apart of their eco project, helped with gardening, and assisted in cooking sometimes, which was cool to learn about. The family here are very welcoming and friendly. It was a great environment to practice my Spanish skills. They are located in the north of Bogotà, about an hour or so from the city center. It's a good neighborhood, with different things to do nearby. Also, the food was tasty and Colombian so I got to experience traditional Colombia food. Overall, I would recommend!

Renzo y sus padres nos acogieron enseguida como parte de la familia. Nos proporcionaron todo para estar cómodas y la comunicación con todos era muy fluida y fácil. Hicimos tareas en la casa, fuimos a la universidad y al mercado, actividades que nos permitieron conocer más sobre permacultura, bioconstrucción, sostenibilidad y cultura local. La casa queda un poco lejos del centro si lo que interesa es visitar la ciudad. Como estan empezando, faltaria un poco más de organización respecto los turnos y tareas para como voluntari@ poder organizarse bien, aunque fueron muy flexibles siempre. Gracias

Ha sido una experiencia muy enriquecedora. Renzo y su família te acogen des del primer momento y siempre están pendientes de que no te falte nada. En la casa hay un ambiente muy familiar y tradicional en el que se puede aprender mucho sobre la cultura y sus platos típicos. Renzo te explica con mucha pasión cómo funciona la permacultura y cómo se puede aplicar a la vida quotidiana. El horario de las tareas es muy flexible y se acuerda con Renzo a medida que van pasando los días. Eso ofrece mucha flexibilidad pero a veces no quedan muy claras. Aún así es una experiencia 100% recomendable.

Ufff Me fui con lagrimas en los ojos. Estuve 25 días y se fueron volando. Literalmente te adoptan y te sumergen a la dinámica familiar y a la dinámica que se trabaja en la universidad. El proyecto familiar es una organización que tiene principios ecológicos, saludables y sostenibles. Aprendí el mundo del Kefir, de la composta, reutilizar agua, tanto la que se usa en la cocina para preparar los alimentos como la de lluvia. Ahí habita la MEJOR COCINERA DE TODO COLOMBIA. Doña Ana es la mejor maestra culinaria, desde jugos saludables hasta el majestuoso Sancocho, sin menospreciar la changua.
