I had a fun experience at Rossano. The other volunteers were great and the town itself was beautiful and very welcoming. The work is very demanding and you will definitely be tired in the evenings, but it was also rewarding to see the progress and contribute to the project. even though the projects weren't often finished I feel I learned a lot and am very grateful for my time spent there. The living area is simple and the rooms are private with a shared bathroom but you are working on the house you are staying at so it is a construction site, the rooms are basic and can get pretty dusty .

This experience was incredibly unique for me. I got the chance to experience and learn so many different skills. The work was very physically demanding and you need to be flexible with plans changing quickly. Lots of the projects were only half completed once they were begun so it can be a little frustrating at times. The living area was interesting, basic living. You had many options for the space you wanted to stay in, but be mind full that you are living on a construction site so there is a lot of dust and work happening around and in your room. Overall a good experience for me
