The Experience

Dear world! Our french au pair will sadly leave at the end of May l, so we are looking for someone else!! We are looking for someone who is living as a part of the family with us. It would be cool if you can speak a little bit German, so it's easier for the kids ;-) We are looking for someone who is watching the kids at home, but also comes to the swimming pool etc. with us from time to time. Also, our niece is most of the days with us!

Anna and Leo have build a truly home and I am really glad I get to spend my first worldpackers's experience with them, they have the smartest kids and the cutest and easygoing baby girl. The views from the farm are really beautiful, i was able to visit some of the lakes and the surroundings. About the tasks I had to feed the animals, I did some daily cleaning tasks and carry Paula around :), the room was perfect and every single meal was just a joy cause most of things come from the farm itself or around the village. I will love to go back

I spent amazing time in Austria with Anna, Leo and their three lovely kids. Anna and Leo are interesting, open-minded and really funny people with sooo many experiences around the world. I found a second home there for a few weeks and I wished I could have stayed longer. The tasks were mostly feeding the animals and taking care of the kids, or some other basic daily tasks. The surrounded nature is beautiful, so I spent my freetime in the mountains. the farm is the ideal place for anyone, who loves being active and prefer quiet rural life, homemade products and nature!

I spent amazing time in Austrian Alps, thanks so much to Anna and Leo. I learned many things by way of doing from farming to construction, to woods cutting etc. I met new friends from different countries. Gmunden is good place for spending free times. I wish that I wanna come again Austria in one day.

This was my first experience with Worldpackers, and it was perfect. Anna and Leo are so nice and welcoming, they also have the nicest and smartest kids I know (Jakob will probably give you a tour of the tractors and machinery as soon as you're there 🤣), the rooms are very comfortable, the view of the house is absolutely magical. The work I did was mostly planting seeds, watering the plants, collecting hay, feeding the animals, (the work was always what I could handle myself) In my free time, I rode around the area on their bikes or hiked. There is nothing I can complain about this experience.

I stayed 3 weeks in Purndorf and I regret not staying for longer. Leo and Anna made me feel right at home as soon as I met them. Their 2 kids Jakob and Johannes are full of joy and love to run around the farm. The room was perfect and had its own smaller bathroom attached. The food was some of the best I've ever experienced. Fresh veggies and meat right from either their farm or the surrounding area. The work could be tiring but was never more then I could handle. It's a farm so be prepared to be dirty. I had some great conversations and shared laughs. Felt like a home away from home.
